Shib Shankar Paul is a right-handed batsman of West Bengal Cricket team. He is also known as `Buro`. He was born on November 4, 1981 in Tufanganj, West Bengal.
This right-arm medium bowler has also played for Indian Board President`s XI team. Shib Shankar Paul is a strongly built cricketer, who attracted the attention with his consistent performances for Bengal
team in the Ranji Trophy. The selectors gave him the chance to prove his talent in the East Asia tour in August 2004. He overwhelmed everybody with his self-control and ability to hit the deck. This performance gave him a place in the fourth Test against Australia at Mumbai in 2004/05.
