Water Supply
The municipal corporation has water supply projects to supply drinking water to every house. This project has been quite successful in providing potable water to the citizens.

Modern Telecommunication and Postal Services is highly developed in Tufanganj. Tufanganj’s Head Post Office and other sub-post offices located in strategic location throughout the town, is fully equipped to handle the different aspects of modern postal and electronic communication.
On the other hand, Telecommunication facilities in Tufanganj are of the best standards in league with the major towns in West Bengal. Only a few year ago, BSNL was the only service provider in Tufanganj, but as the demand for better services grew, telecommunication companies have made a beeline to offer services to a large subscriber base in Tufanganj and the surrounding areas. Apart from BSNL, which is the only government enterprise offering telecommunication services in Tufanganj, there are five other private companies operating in Tufanganj: Reliance, Tata Indicom, Airtel, Hutch and Aircel.
